Product Details
Nature’s palette has always been a source of curiosity. This piece brings together some common materials that can be used to make colour, from flowers, leaves and kitchen scraps.
Hibiscus for red, marigolds for orange, onion skins for deep yellow, turmeric for bright yellow, spinach for green, butterfly pea for blue and beetroot for pink.
The spread invites a closer look at how colour exists in the natural world, and how it can be gathered, observed and used in simple ways.
The illustrations were first drawn by hand in pencil and then coloured digitally.
