Product Details
This spread brings together seeds that may feel familiar from our kitchens, along with others from trees and plants we pass by every day. Seen together, they begin to tell a story of how plants move, spread and continue across landscapes.
Each seed carries clues about how it travels. Some are shaped to move with the wind, some are held within pods that fall to the ground, and others rely on birds and animals to carry them further.
The illustrations were first drawn by hand in pencil and then coloured digitally. Working on them meant slowing down and paying attention to form, texture and structure. What seems like a small, ordinary object begins to reveal a quiet complexity when observed closely.
