An art print showing flowering shrubs commonly found in Indian gardens. Originally created for the Indian Women Scientists Association book Creating Learning Gardens and Living Museums.
Product Details
This spread brings together familiar shrubs that are often seen along garden edges, pathways and boundaries. Plants like hibiscus and pinwheel flowers are easy to recognise, and they are also part of a larger network of life within these spaces.
These shrubs offer nectar for pollinators, shelter for small insects and birds, and colour that shifts through the seasons. What might appear decorative at first glance is also functional, supporting everyday ecological interactions.
The illustrations were first drawn by hand in pencil and then coloured digitally.
